Rachel DAy OWNER/LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a 500-hour Comprehensive Certified Pilates instructor with advanced certifications and 10 years of experience helping people move with more strength, confidence, and joy. My teaching blends professionalism with warmth—I want every session to feel supportive, approachable, and fun.
My journey as an instructor has been shaped by both advanced training and hands-on experience. Early in my career, I had the privilege of working in an orthopedic hospital, where I shadowed top doctors and physical therapists. That experience gave me invaluable insight into how the body heals and how movement can be safely adapted for injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. It also cemented my passion for helping people who may feel limited by their bodies discover that they can move with freedom and strength.Over the years, I’ve pursued advanced certifications in scoliosis, injury rehabilitation, and special populations, along with specialized training in anatomy, barre, TRX, fascia, and Bellicon (mini trampoline). I’m also currently expanding my expertise through certifications in personal training and nutrition coaching, because I believe true wellness is about supporting the whole person—not just the workout. At Form Pilates, I offer one-on-one coaching and small group classes intentionally capped at five participants. This way, you get the benefit of focused, individualized attention while still being part of a welcoming, encouraging community. My goal is to help you learn proper form, understand your body, and progress safely—while keeping sessions engaging and enjoyable.Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a condition, or simply looking to feel stronger and more connected, I’ll meet you exactly where you are. My clients often tell me they appreciate not just the results they gain, but also the supportive, fun environment I create. Pilates has the power to change the way you move through life—and I’d be honored to share that journey with you.

Monica Freeman INSTRUCTOR
For over two decades, Monica’s life was all about pushing limits. As a high school teacher and coach, she ignited young minds, and as a triathlete and marathoner, she devoured the miles, chased endorphins and personal bests.
Age and the often-cruel whispers of menopause painted a bleak picture on an MRI scan, revealing a constellation of spinal issues. Her future seemed to be paved with pain, not personal bests.
She stumbled, skeptical and defeated, into her first Pilates class. What she found, under the guidance of exceptional mentor teachers, was a workout fueled by precision, controlled power and a surprising depth of challenge. She learned to lengthen my spine, not just stretch it, to strengthen her foundation, not just bulk up. Pilates wasn't a surrender; it was a redesign. It wasn't about replacing her past athletic pursuits, but about enriching them. It strengthened the foundation, creating a more efficient swimmer, a more powerful cyclist, a more resilient runner. Pilates has redefined aging, keeping joints supple, the spine strong, and her spirit alive.
Monica is a 2023 graduate of a 500-hour comprehensive Pilates teacher training program. Her program included extensive course work in anatomy and experience with special populations. She’s here not as a faded athlete, but as a contemporary Pilates instructor excited to be a part of your Pilates journey. From wise soul to youthful spirit, whatever your fitness story or the chapters life has etched on your body; roll out your mat (or jump on a reformer), step into your strength, and let's redefine what it means to move, and to thrive.
Tamra Jackson INSTRUCTOR
Tamra is a certified Pilates Instructor who has recently completed her 500-hour Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program. She is dedicated to helping clients build strength, balance, and confidence. Her teaching reflects a whole-body approach to mindful movement that is balanced, intentional, and effective. Tamra discovered Pilates while living in Santa Monica. There she was introduced to the foundations of classical Pilates where her love of movement and body awareness began to deepen. Living with a scoliotic spine and pelvis-including curvature, rotation, and tilt-has given her a personal understanding of the importance of alignment, breath, and proper muscle engagement.
Over the following years, she continued to deepen her practice as she moved around the country exploring a variety of training styles and teaching philosophies. Through consistent practice, moving the spine in all directions, and incorporating inversion work, she has significantly improved her posture, spinal health, and eliminated pain.
After relocating to Bend, Oregon, Tamra immersed herself fully in the Pilates community, studying multiple forms and methodologies that now inform her thoughtful, well-rounded approach to instruction. She brings a blend of classical precision and contemporary technique to her teaching, meeting clients exactly where they are and guiding them toward sustainable, whole body wellness. Tamra encourages students to build strength, awareness, and confidence at their own pace, emphasizing full-body engagement and optimal posture. Trained across multiple Pilates apparatuses, her sessions challenge the entire body while supporting balance, strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.
Tamra is passionate about sharing the transformative benefits of Pilates and finds joy in witnessing her clients’ progress. Outside of the studio, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, nourishing natural foods and living, and embracing an active, outdoor lifestyle. She is continually finding new ways to stay active and inspired. She is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment for all who step into her classes.
Alison Mccarn Apprentice INSTRUCTOR
I've always loved being active, but injuries over the years made it hard to build consistent strength and stay pain-free. When I discovered Pilates, something clicked. It reminded me of the physical therapy that had helped me in the past, but it offered even more-strength, balance, and a sense of empowerment I hadn't felt in years. I decided to pursue a rigorous 500-hour comprehensive program through Pearl Pilates in Bend, OR.
Pilates has helped me become stronger both physically and mentally. It's eased my pain, supported my recovery, and allowed me to return to the things I love-like hiking and skiing —with confidence and joy.
Now, I'm passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and fun space where others can experience those same benefits and feel good in their bodies—no matter where they're starting from.
